Overview

💥 Based out of Australia MODA DAO is a decentralized technology network and community that aims to lead the adoption of Web3 in the music industry via NFTs, micro-licensing, DAO governance, and DeFi. Entertainment, contractual and financial value can now be exchanged in one digital unit; the NFT.

Data from streaming services and social media had made music an attractive investment vehicle for the wealthiest in the world. Now, MODA DAO removes those middlemen to increase value between creators and fans in ways never seen before.

Mission

MODA is being established as a not-for-profit foundation (with a tokenized value structure) for the sole purpose of pushing Web3 music forwards and establishing a more sustainable future for audio creators. Therefore, the token model itself contains a balance of free and open-source tooling for the music world and value-creating functions which will drive its long-term growth.

At the core, MODA is designed to bridge not only the legacy music industry with Web3 but to also bridge existing networks through standards and interoperability. MODA is about allowing people freedom, not locking them into walled gardens.

MODA is the token of Moda DAO that will be available for trading on ETH, Fantom, Polygon and Near.

MODA Token Usecases

It plans to roll out infrastructure (referring to as Music3) as well as creator tools, a publishing ecosystem, and an innovation lab, which should help to not only lower the barrier to entry for those wishing to enter the space but also by providing funds, technology, and industry know-how, whilst ensuring rights are protected.

The $MODA ERC-20 token is designed as a DAO membership token, bringing with it the ability to vote on proposals and earn rewards in exchange for participation within the DAO. The token contract is a standard ERC20 contract based on the OpenZepplin framework.

Q1. How to bridge USDC and FTM?

Here are a few ways you can fund your wallet on Fantom Opera.

Using Multichain.xyz is the easiest way to bridge FTM from BSC or ETH chain to the Fantom chain.
Consider bridging USDC over instead of FTM. You can always look on Anyswap to see where the liquidity is.
Another way is to withdraw FTM to Fantom chain whitelisted address from any of these centralized exchanges — Binance, Bitfinex, Okex, Probit, Coinex, Tokocrypto, Coinspot, Hotbit, Huobi, Kucoin, or Changenow.

Q2. How to invest in the ModaDao Investment rounds?

First, you will need to make sure you are whitelisted and that you are logged in with an approved Fractal KYC connected to the FantomStarter app.
Second, make sure you have USDC in your Fantom chain wallet you whitelisted and KYC with.
When Investment starts you should be ready to click on the ‘Invest’ button within the Public Sale pool page here and Private Sale pool here.

Q3. Do investors in the ModaDao investment phases need to claim the tokens after TGE or will those be airdropped to their wallet?

Users who invested in the Private pool will be able to have a 1 week vesting period to claim following the Spookyswap listing from the pool they invested within on our app. There will not be a vesting period for the Public pool.
